Steven T Seagle's pretty dark and actually very funny, dark comedy about a young evangelical superstar Adam's fight to stay on the spiritual and holy path after some awful experiences. Some how Steven T Seagle manages to blend terrorism, religion, love and a world tour into a pretty good book! 7 out of 12. Collects #10-14.
So Saga of Adam Chamberlain continues .. this time we get to see a flashback to his childhood and lot more .. Since avenging Cassie .. Adam is now looking for another Miss Right for him. As per the name of the story arc .. every part of this 5 part arc has something to do with water.Do read it.I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on
Adam sees a message from God convincing him that maybe Cassie wasn't his one and only after all. Can he track down his real true love?
cute, I've read as far as issue 23. Why on earth did it get the chop can anyone tell me?
This was a really bad comic. The writing was average at best, there was nothing intriguing about any of the characters. The protagonist was utterly unlikable and had no depth to his character. Boring and bad.
The same drama continues with more sex and more nudes...Becomes repetitive
Adam Chamberlain, a Christian virginity advocate, continues his R-rated romp though his messed-up family's past and his sex-after-marriage future! The first issue in Wet is a well-integrated flashback that explains Adam's family relationship, especially with his less savory/saviory step-siblings. After that, Adam's on a quest to find his real soul mate, since the last one he found didn't take (she was murdered, but he keeps seeing her in visions).American Virgin has a lot more to say about Americ...
é coisa de doido, como south park e derivados
I kinda got bored with this series I guess. I found the first volume fairly interesting and figured I'd read the next volume or two, since a lot of times it takes a series a couple of books to really get good. But it hasn't really happened here. It's definitely not bad either, just...it doesn't really seem to be going anywhere at this point, and I have other things to read. You know...
Another interesting volume with good characters and good plot.
Premarital sex, pool parties, downfall of politics when sex is involved, beauty pageants, sex parties, and transitioning individuals.
Entering the second half of its run, Steven Seagle's "American Virgin" pivots away from the action movie subplot towards a more philosophical but fluffier mix of sex comedy and religious exploration. It works pretty well most of the time; this is a comic that tries to be everything but here figures out exactly what it's meant to be.
Ok, so Mamie was hot in her youth. She quickly turns into a right b!tch after her husband leaves her. Adam was terrorised as a child by his fanatically religious mother and his step-brothers, then found God and everything became right in his little world.Going through his memories right before getting out of the crashed plane makes him doubt the link he had with Cassie. They met at a beauty pageant, but there were several other girls there. God's message to him said he would fall for a girl he m...
