This 10th anniversary issue of Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine wasn't my favourite, with only a few stories that really stood out for me. Lee Battersby's 'Comfort Ghost' was one, a strange little urban ghost story about letting go of grief; another was Lyn Battersby's 'The Blind Pig', a creepy little Prohibition-era fantasy. 'The Zombie Apocalypse is Thirsty Business' by Logan Albright fulfilled my requisite quota of quirky fantasy with a twist of doom, and 'Better Phones' by Grant Stone,
Before you ask what I'm doing reviewing a magazine where I'm credited as a contributing author ("Illegal" written with Pete Aldin), this review is not regarding our story. I'm not going to lie and tell you that our story isn't great, because I am kind of partial to it, but rather, let me tell you about the magazine.This is a great collection of stories.
