For its second anthology, Kind of a Hurricane Press has compiled a collection of diverse perspectives from 47 writers. B is a celebration of everyone’s favorite doll, Barbie. Our authors have come together in collaboration to tell their tales, fantasies, and frustrations with this golden-haired pop icon. It was our goal to allow the artists contained in this anthology to enter into an already existing dialogue regarding the fascination this “mere toy” holds for us through both childhood memories and adult ideologies.

Lots of fun poems and stories about the famous Barbie. Especially for the girls who have a deep understanding of the important role this doll played in their kid world fantasy play. Oh Barbie, how we love your many adventures, hairdos and matching shoes.
