The Document is uniquely divided into two sections. The first section, called “The Possibility,” is a fictitious look into the future of America and what she may become if the enemy is allowed to pursue his goals unabated. The year is 2026, and our story deals with a pastor living in a time when national morality has slipped to a historic low.
The second section, titled “The Prayer,” is a non-fiction journey into America’s Christian heritage, as well as a biblically based plan to recapture that heritage. It is the author’s hope that you will approach this book with an open heart and with a prayer for guidance on your lips. If you are a Christian, you have already enlisted as a volunteer in the Lord’s army. This book is your call to active duty.
NOTE TO READER: THIS IS NOT THE SAME PAUL PARSONS AS THE ONE WITH ALL THOSE SCIENCE, UM, BOOKS.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With skill, transparency, and believability, Paul Parsons has projected himself into our nation’s future. Based on the events of our past, in an almost Orwellian fashion, Parsons has dared to describe what American society will be like in the year 2026 if a dramatic disruption of current events does not occur. The only dramatic disruption that can prevent our future from being devastatingly similar to this fictional portrayal is the intervention of the Spirit of God in national revival.
As you read first portion of The Document, it doesn’t take much imagination to see that religious liberty is on the line if national revival is not in our future. By the time you finish reading this book you will have gained a deeper appreciation for why so many of us are praying for revival and preparing our hearts for it.

The United States, the greatest nation on earth, has descended into an immorality that has characterized all other great nations of the past who have ultimately fallen into obscurity. But there is hope. In the second half of this book, Paul Parsons provides a biblical way for America to head off certain disaster.
Imagine if someone had been able to accurately forecast the moral disintegration of 21st century America back in Jefferson’s time? Certainly, the founding fathers would have responded to such a prognostication with a single voice, “Not in my country!”
Considering the America to be left to the next generation, each person must acknowledge the consequences of doing nothing. The challenge is to become the Minutemen of this day and respond with a single voice, “Not in my country!”
