There, she forges a friendship with a woman who runs a café and gives her a job. She meets Jacque who runs an adjacent boating business and dips her feet into the waters of a fresh romance.

But when a secret kept for decades knocks her for six, Francine questions her place in the world. Can she forgive the lies, she has been fed her entire life? Or will the past ruin her chance for a new beginning?
