Brothers Clement and Clyde are so ultra competitive that they are constantly one-upping each other. On her birthday, their mother asks that they stop fighting for one day and visit her. But when they get there, they start in on a tale about strong winds — until a wind really does come up and nearly blows them all away.
Such fun to read aloud! Grades 2-4.
Very funny. The pictures are terrific.

A cute and clever read, but one that lends itself to storytime sharing.
Sibling argue until a big wind comes. Funny!
I own this picture book and it's one I cherish. It's a tall tale, humorous for adults, extraordinary for children. I also think it would make a wonderful film.
