Following the events of Winter Storm, the arrival of spring finds Creative Research and Design agent Marta Alger embroiled in a situation that affects not only Europe, but the world. While trying to track down a dangerous Panamanian crime lord for the CIA, Marta discovers a new problem: a weapon of mass destruction has been stolen right under the CRD's nose. The thief has a personal connection to both Alger and the Ukrainian President and, motivated by revenge, will let nothing stand in the way.

In her search, Marta is joined by members of NATO's security force. They possess personalities as diverse as their nationalities. Marta will need all the help she can get as evidence of a mole within the CRD is uncovered.

It's Marta's most personal mission yet as she experiences Spring Thaw.
