It is edited by Meredith Malone, curator at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum, in conjunction with the artist, and it features essays by Malone and the scholars Hal Foster and Joshua Chambers-Letson, a conversation between Pendleton and the critic Isabelle Graw, and complete transcripts of two of the artist’s recent film portraits, presented for the first time.
