Athara The First Talisman

Athara The First Talisman

Maggie Czerwien
5/5 ( ratings)
“I got this book thanks to my dad. I've read a lot of fantasy novels, but I’ve never liked them like this one. It's a book so creative, so full of magic and extraordinary creatures that imagining the characters is a delight for my mind.” L. M. Saez, 15 years old
“Whoever loves books for children that can be read and reread by adults, we have to keep in mind that a new star has appeared in our universe.” S. C. Castro, 49 years old
Athara is a book written to captivate readers, with simple language that provides the magic that all children need for their internal growth.
We all know the benefits of reading are limitless and life-long. Athara is a book that hooks even children and teens that don’t like to read. With short chapters full of action, it’s a smooth and immensely pleasant read that will open up new worlds to readers, amplify their vocabulary and develop their ability to concentrate.
Book Summary
“The little girl had a special power; no one was able to hurt her. The hurt that they tried to cause her would inevitably return to the aggressor.
One day, she woke up without remembering anything; not who she was, or where she came from, or even who her parents were or if she had a family. Reduced to living in a home for orphan children, bearing the abuse of the director who hated her for some reason, she had spent the last three years there.
Even her own name seemed strange to her, almost false.
Her life changed when she found herself with a young boy who grabbed her by the shoulders. Looking at her in the eyes, he revealed to her: “Your name is Athara.” Then he disappeared in the same strange way he had arrived. Athara now must cross a portal, accompanied by her best friend and Doctor Samuel, a psychologist who stays at her side by mistake.
In a new world, they will go on surprising adventures to recover and reunite the three talismans.”
