Do you feel stagnant on your healing journey, or don’t know where to start? Do you feel like you’ve healed partially but feel stuck or like you’ve plateaued?Mast Cell Activation Syndrome is a condition that is very real—and can be very overwhelming. Often, patients feel defeated and stuck in a constant state of hypervigilance. As a functional/natural medicine practitioner who specializes in conditions like MCAS, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome , hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome , chronic inflammatory response syndrome from mold exposure, Lyme disease and long COVID, I’ve worked with thousands of patients over the years and have seen many patterns emerge.I also have the insight of having lived with these conditions personally and come full circle to a place of great healing, thriving and reversal of symptoms—and I want to help you get there, too. Physical detoxification is crucial for many of these patients, but what rarely gets discussed is mental detoxification. This journal contains some of the most important questions that I’ve seen help my patients to take their healing to the next level. The journals out there for this community focus on logging symptoms and tracking foods. That is NOT what this is. This is a place to spend a few minutes a day asking yourself important questions. There’s no right or wrong answer—it’s simply a space for reflection.A compilation of the topics that I wish “younger me” had on the radar, this is a great tool to accompany the healing journey with chronic illness. This journal contains 53 reflection questions , plus bonus considerations and sub-questions, inspiring quotations, a handful of ocean-themed graphics that you can color, and a resources section. This content can be applied to all sorts of chronic conditions, not just MCAS.Please This journal should not replace professional help and resources for mental health. If you’ve experienced trauma, please make sure that you do this inner work alongside the support of your care team.
