Dear Diary: A Letter To My Sister

Dear Diary: A Letter To My Sister

Tamon Pearson
0/5 ( ratings)
Dear Sister,

It’s been 8 hours. No one is coming to get me. I am looking for phone numbers to call someone – anyone. I even called Larry’s house but no one answered. This is a cruel joke that Mom is playing on me. I am convinced that she is joking, but I’m not altogether sure. No one would play a joke this long. I think she is really trying to leave me here. What am I going to do, and where am I going to go?

For over ten years she rescued teenage runaways and prostitutes across the United States, becoming known only as, "The Harriet Tubman of the Teenage Prostitute/Teenage Runaway World". Now, relive Dawn Johnson, "The Self Esteem Queen's" life as a teenage prostitute, and explore the mind of a teenager too grown to be at home, and too young to be on the streets. This first-person account of a teenage girl's harrowing decent into the nightmarish world of teenage prostitution has left a lasting mark on teen, adults, and educators.

"Dawn’s willingness to expose her life for the sole purpose of saving teenagers sets precedence for the term “mentoring” I commend this young lady for allowing her belief in God to sustain her through what some would consider horrific circumstances and prevail into the dynamic speaker known as The Self Esteem Queen. This book should be a part of every junior high curriculum across the United States."
