Very cute! It even included an episode from season 3 at a comic which I thought was pretty cool. The cutest comic was when Wallow took Catbug camping!:)
3.25/5 stars
This is the first volume that didn't quite feel like it captured the essence of the show- particularly in the characters' dialogue- as well as the first 3 volumes. Catbug in particular was way too articulate. I haven't seen the fourth season, so maybe he evolves somehow, but I hope not! It was curious that issue 14 was exactly the same as one of the episodes in season 3. I haven't seen that before and wonder which came first... I have access to more of the issues but am disinclined for now to ke...
3.5 --- Wallow's camper adventure, and the burger joint bit were made of win.
It still makes no sense whatsoever as a story, but the short chapters are full of pop culture easter eggs and funny quips so I've learned to live with the madness.
The same cotton candy fun as previous volumes. Highlights include: weapon origin lies, time-traveling beard, and dreamadon.
Yay! Plum is back. Gosh I missed her.... but sadly this one wasn't as exciting as the last volume. Oh well. I still enjoyed it!
3.5/5starDefinitely not my favorite of the volumes so far, but still very enjoyable!!
This collection of issues is silly fun. The first issue is just a lot of nonsense origin stories, and the second has the fantastic time travel beard concept. The third issue has very different artwork from the others, but the story's not bad. There are also some fun shorts. Overall, it's a nice collection but there's little if any connection between the issues. Fun, but slight.
Fluff that's as fun as it is, forgettable.
This follows in the footsteps of the previous volume by still having shorter stories with humorous bits more densely packed. It did a good job of keeping things unexpected and fun while actually starting to have some bits which felt a little more emotionally honest than the previous ones. This is the first volume where I really felt like I was connecting with the characters some on an honest level rather than any emotional cues just being a set-up for another joke.
I love and miss adventure time, and this definitely helped scratch that itch. I didnt start with the first volume but was able to easily follow the story. Good stuff.
After a mildly disappointing third volume, Bravest Warriors shine again with these varied short stories. The pace and art are extremely good, and as usual, all volumes end with a few crazy shorts to round a great volume.
