Okay, but not great. I enjoyed the interviews for the most part, and the articles that were actually journalistic. But a lot was felt like writing to hear oneself speak - there was no meat to it. Particularly the cover article - for an article purportedly about Jimi Hendrix studio, it managed to convey almost nothing about Jimi Hendrix or his studio, or anything else for that matter. Where were the editors on that one?
The Believer returns with a new look, new size, and new publishing frequency. Some pieces are lost (e.g. Greil Marcus' column "Real Life Rock Top Ten") and some are found ("Symposium").
