The Life Story Workbook: Gold Version (The Life Story Workbooks)

Writing your life story should be fun, easy and fulfilling.

The best thing about creating it is THERE ARE NO RULES!

It’s your life, your story and your book.

This is simply a guide to help you recall, organize, express and share what is most important to you about your life.

The Life Story Workbook is packed with 284 original, insightful and thought-provoking questions on 34 topics with space for responses. It also includes 20 colorful activity sections with room to add photos to spark your memories and help you reconnect with your past. This is the perfect guide to help you recall, organize, express and share what is most important to you about your life! It's also the perfect gift for older parents, relatives and friends. // 20 Activity Sections with Space for Memory Brainstorming --> Topic Ideas --> Family --> Friendships --> Education --> Training, Work & Career --> Accomplishments --> Favorite Things --> Most Valuable Possessions --> Hobbies & Activities --> Travel & Adventures --> Favorite Places --> Places Lived --> Favorite Memories --> Events by the Years --> Important Events --> Life Timeline --> Important Documents --> Post-Life Wishes --> Research & Sources // 34 Topics with 284 Questions with Space for Origins --> Accomplishments --> Values & Beliefs --> Childhood --> Youth --> School --> Home --> Influences--> Starting Out/Leaving Home --> Family --> Parents --> Hobbies & Activities --> Community --> Faith & Spirituality--> Marriage --> Children --> Grandchildren --> Friendships --> Work --> Career & Money --> Military Service --> Travel--> Bests & Worsts --> Favorite Things --> Identity --> Quirks --> Challenges --> Relationships --> Pets & Animals--> Bucket List --> Life Lessons --> Illnesses & Accidents --> No Regrets --> Remembrance --> Dreams & Aspirations //

The amazing thing about documenting your life story is that it will exist for many generations to enjoy. So, what may seem trivial or obvious to you now - or stories that you may think everyone has already heard a million times - could be incredibly interesting and valuable to them in the future.

I used this format and questions to help my 82-year-old mother create her life story in 2023: “Toasty Brown Tales.” We had a lot of fun putting it together and I can attest this is a wonderful, meaningful activity to do with an older parent, relative or friend.
