Experience the essence of medieval Dublin with a cultural walking tour that explores some of the oldest buildings in the heart of downtown.
Set alongside Ireland’s eastern coast, Dublin is just a short trip from the beautiful beach cities in County Fingal. This medieval tour explores some of the oldest buildings in the heart of Dublin. First we will stop at Trinity College, home to the book of Kells. Next, we learn how Irish women used to "save face" or "lose face" sitting by the fires of Dublin Castle. For lunch we can visit the country’s oldest restaurant or stop at one of the many eateries in the famous Temple Bar area. Then we'll finish the tour with a visit to the country’s medieval churches.
