Andrew Dickinson
0/5 ( ratings)
The United States has always been desperate to vindicate their decision to invade Iraq and overthrow Saddam Hussein in 2003. Revenge is a fictional action novel with a difference, this time the weapons of mass destruction are a reality. The story remains very topical with many parallels in real life today covering terrorism, murder, politics, global warming and the future of our world.
In 2005 during a senate security committee review of the latest UN weapons inspection report some disturbing information is received. An allegation has been made linking an American based company to the illegal transfer of nuclear technology and information to one of the countries enemies. To help with their investigations the US secret services recruits the assistance of one of the UN weapons inspectors, Jonna Kristiansen, an accomplished atomic specialist and successful woman at a cross roads in her life.
The subsequent investigations lead them to an amazing technological discovery “Black Eagle” an invention that could help to prevent global warming and slow down the depletion of the world’s oil reserves; however there is a dark side to Black Eagle which could also bring around the collapse of the world’s already fragile political stability. Getting Black Eagle accepted is not going to be an easy task. No country wants to be involved with this type of nuclear research because it is always linked to the development of weapons.
The man behind championing Black Eagle has a sinister past linked to Nazi Germany that he has kept secret for over fifty years. The methods he uses to promote its acceptance are as evil and twisted as his family’s history.
When Jonna Kristiansen agrees to work with the US secret services she has no idea it will send her on an exhilarating, dangerous and emotional roller coaster ride around the world.
