Numerous Native Americans tribal communities to this day retain the religious belief that photographs capture the souls of the living and imprison them within that photographic image.
Living in England during the 1960’s and 1970’s Bobby is a boy with a gift, an inborn ability to free those very souls from the torment and torture of the Jailer’s realm. The Demon as been among us since the dawn of time, existing only to feed off misery, grief, wretchedness and despair and when the camera was invented it found a new source of substance, a production line of souls, pictures taken of the downhearted, the anxious and the desperate, when faith is at it’s lowest.
Throughout his life Bobby as freed many souls and lost his loved ones along the way, but to save the one he holds most precious of all, he will have to come face to face with is greatest fear of all, the Jailer itself.
