Rhyming tales illustrating the curious blend of humour, fun and melancholy of the Celt.
MacGonagle’s Dance
McCafferty’s playing the fiddle
McAllum is beating the drum
O’Malley is blowing so hard on his flute,
the air is beginning to hum
O’Reilly is wielding the baton
While Flanagan’s singing a song
The music is spreading so wild and so sweet
enthralling the gathering throng.
The faeries are marching in rhythm
The elves trip along in a trance
The world is a wonderful, magical place
MacGonagle’s holding a dance.
