A great addition to the hilarious antics of the Sinful crime fighters. The ability of this series to cause me laugh out load moments remind me of early Stephanie Plum books.
Swamp Team 3 by Jana Deleon is the 4th book in the Miss Fortune Mystery series. When her friend Ally's house is set on fire, Fortune and her crime fighting partners Ida Belle and Gertie set off to find the culprit. Another very entertaining and funny book in the series. As always, things are never smooth sailing giving us plenty of laughs along the way.

I like this series. It is an easy read. I’ve picked it at night and love the humor, mixed in with a mystery.
This was the light, over the top read I needed. I was thrilled to see more between Carter and Fortune.
I am totally loving this series and the humor just keeps coming along with the action. I hope I'm that active at the seniors age.
It's rare lately that I find a book that just makes me happy. A good heart-warming story with lots of laughs and good warm happy feels. So imagine how happy I've been to spend my Christmas break with the eclectic crew of Fortune, Ida, Gertie, and the lovable law abiding Carter. It makes me want to hop in my car and go find these people in Sinful, Louisiana and join in on all the fun. Read this series, people. Especially if you are a fan of laughs, friends, and genuine happiness.
The fifth installment in the Miss Fortune mysteries, Swamp Team 3 by Deleon, continues the hilarious exploits of CIA assassin Fortune Redding with her entourage of former spies Ida Belle and Gertie. Someone tries to set fire to Ally's house, so the intrepid trip band together to find the culprit. The investigation is complicated when Ally's next door neighbor is found murdered in her back yard shortly afterwards, and the FBI barge in to take over the homicide investigation. This series keeps getting better and better!I just had the pleasure of reading Swamp Team 3 by Jana DeLeon and let me tell you, this book had me laughing from start to finish. Ida Bell and Gertie are up to their old tricks, and some new ones, and of course, Fortune is stuck right in the middle. There wasn't a single thing I would change about this story. Swamp Team 3 by Jana Deleon was pure fun from start to finish. I love Fortune and with Ida Belle and Gertie by her side you know there will be total chaos and laughter. This time they are trying to protect Ally from an arsonist and a "creeper". Of course, there is more going on than there appears. Plenty of twists, only a few suspects and too many things that can go wrong and do. I'm already on the wait list at my library for the next one in this series.
