An aging Jeremiah takes his wife, Lilly, into town to do a little shopping and, while she shops, he stops off at the town’s saloon for a peaceful beer. He thinks his gunfighting days are over. It’s been many years since his last encounter. He’s been living in peace on his farm outside of Coffeyville, Kansas, where his only son, Kyle, is the judge, but when he sits down at the bar, he finds out his gunfighting days are only over in his mind. His past days as a gunfighter rear up and bite him where it hurts the most.
