Jeremiah and Ezekiel: Prophets of Judgment and Hope (Adult Bible Study Guides)

Jeremiah and Ezekiel: Prophets of Judgment and Hope (Adult Bible Study Guides)

Ron Lyles
4.3/5 ( ratings)
Jeremiah and Ezekiel were prophets of God during the time of the invasion and exile of Judah by Babylon in the early sixth century BC. Each prophesied of both judgment and hope. Each ministered on God’s behalf in his own way, however.

Jeremiah willingly accepted God’s call but realized later how difficult being God’s prophet would turn out to be. He faced great opposition courageously and continued to proclaim God’s message.

Ezekiel engaged in God’s service in a quite different way. Ezekiel ministered as God’s prophet by telling of visions that often seem bizarre, and yet he, too, proclaimed God’s message, unpopular though it was.

In each study, lessons have been selected so as to encourage understanding and applying the thrust of the book as a whole. Let us listen carefully for God's message for our own day and our own lives as we study these books.
