Isolated from almost everyone except his mother since the day he was born, Kodiak Jones is a true outsider in the world of Agortha. With little knowledge of how life beyond the boundaries of his humble home is conducted, he suddenly finds himself caught up in a quest at a nearby civilization after his mother’s murder.

Seeking to avenge her death, Kodiak encounters a myriad of obstacles standing in his way – including his own mysterious past. Will his search for answers end up eventually being the catalyst for the collapse of society? There’s an inkling of magic in the air that begins to shift the only pillar supporting the very paradigm of life.

Meanwhile, a young woman finds herself getting ready to face the fate she’s feared her entire life – that is, until the day destiny delivers her a sliver of hope. Can she somehow break away from tradition and attain true happiness, or will she suffer the unimaginable terror that’s traumatized her during her dreams?

Before it’s all over, ancient secrets will be revealed that only continue to confuse Kodiak. He’ll have to make crucial decisions that not only impact his life, but those of everyone around him. Can he somehow solve the crisis he created, or will he succumb to one woman’s desires and fail to find the truth?

This is the first installment of the Adversary of Life series. The first season will feature six episodes, each around 15,000 - 20,000 words. Ideally, I’d like to release an episode every few weeks until all six have been released. However, it will depend on how well the series is received and whether or not I can devote my full time and effort to writing. It’s up to you, the fans, to encourage and support this dream. Until such time, it may be a few weeks or it may be several before I’m able to release the subsequent episodes.

The hard part is already done, though. The series and the story itself have already been plotted out until completion. The actual writing process is still ongoing, however, and unfortunately very time consuming. I could wait to release a full season of episodes until they’ve all been written, but I’d like to share this ever-evolving story with you all as it unfolds. The series is something I’ve been developing for many years, and it will continue to come to life as soon as I’m able to finish each episode.

Additionally, I will continuously keep my loyal readers updated with the status of the next release date via Twitter or Facebook. The entire season will become available for a single bundled price once all six episodes have been unveiled. Future seasons will be released in the same manner until the entire saga has been told. The exact number of seasons is still to be determined, but it will certainly take many more for the entire story to be told.
