The Kingdom of Kaikara

The Kingdom of Kaikara

Jessi Hammond
3/5 ( ratings)
In Kaikara, the King has decreed that helping or harbouring any magical creature is punishable by death.
So when 20-year-old Orson finds a dragon’s egg and accidentally hatches it, he is in deep trouble. Unable to put little Sotari to death as his wife demands, he decides to try to find the dragons’ hidden home.
Along the way he finds other magical creatures dispossessed and orphaned by the King’s Decree, and learns that the treaty between the Kaikaran and Tarfori Kings may not be as straightforward as it seems.
Because the firebird’s last prophecy is coming to pass and, however Orson may hate it, he and his friends may just be the last hope Kaikara has against the Tarfori invasion…
