Note: I read the individual issues rather than the trade paperback.I enjoyed this volume much as I did the first, however there was still a lot of Conan here and I really felt the collection would have been better served by dealing with more obscure Howard characters. Another fantastic volume bringing Robert E. Howard's Characters to the comic medium. Excellent adaptations of many of Howard's characters. As a Howard purist i am very harsh in my judgement of how his work's are treated. I was surprised at how please i was with this comic series. Very recommended
Could've been better, could've been worse. A bit tasteless collection. I read, I forgot.
All are very good adaptations of Robert E. Howard stories or at least characters. The standout in this well-done collection is the Breckenridge Elkins story; it is a great adaptation and makes use of Howard's sadly under-used mountain man character.Well worth the read.
