From the Mouths of Mediums Vol. 1: Experiencing Communication (From the Mouths of Mediums: Conversations with Windbridge Certified Research Mediums)

Julie Beischel
3.9/5 ( ratings)
Mediums who contributed to Vol. 1: Experiencing Communication: Ankhasha Amenti, Traci Bray, Dave Campbell, Carrie D. Cox, Joanne Gerber, Daria Justyn, Nancy Marlowe, Sarah McLean, Tracy Lee Nash, Troy Parkinson, Ginger Quinlan, Eliza Rey, and Kim Russo

What’s it like to be a medium? How can you have similar experiences? This collection includes candid reports from 13 Windbridge Certified Research Mediums who have demonstrated their abilities under controlled laboratory conditions. In this volume, the mediums discuss how they experience communication from the deceased; what suggestions they have for people interested in experiencing communication on their own; and why it might be that someone has not heard from their loved one. They also share some extraordinary examples of communication experienced by their clients as well as their own personal stories of connection. Though their discussions are framed by scientist and non-medium Julie Beischel, PhD, these are their own experiences in their own words free from the assumptions and judgments of the current scientific paradigm.

Praise for Vol. 1 of From the Mouths of Mediums...

“Vol. 1 of From the Mouths of Mediums is destined to become an indispensable toolkit for anyone planning on visiting a medium or for anyone wanting to become one. It’s chock full of ‘behind-the-scenes’ insight and practical advice that helps the reader go deeper into the psyche of those who communicate with the dead. Julie Beischel delivers a metaphysical knockout without pulling any punches. Can’t wait for the next volumes to materialize.”
--Marcel Cairo, medium and researcher

“Highly informative and deeply provocative for both the experienced and inexperienced, this inspirational and comforting book demonstrates that mediums are just people, too, and not the oft-portrayed unrealistic versions seen in various media.”
--August Goforth, psychotherapist, medium, and co-author of ‘The Risen: Dialogues of Love, Grief, & Survival Beyond Death’

“Vol. 1 of From the Mouths of Mediums offers a fascinating insight into the processes and experiences of spirit mediums. Far from the shadowy figures demonized by outspoken skeptics, the Windbridge Institute-approved mediums interviewed for this book are shown to be caring, feeling human beings with as much curiosity about what they do as the scientists that are currently studying them. Recommended reading for anyone interested in the phenomenon of mediumship!”
--Greg Taylor, author of ‘Stop Worrying! There Probably Is an Afterlife’

“This is a great collection of subjective understandings by mediums of their own work and the ways non-mediums can receive after-death communications on their own. It shows how individual mediums have their own ‘dictionaries’ of what means what, in addition to the general culture of mediumship.”
--Charles F. Emmons, sociologist at Gettysburg College, author of ‘Guided by Spirit: A Journey into the Mind of the Medium’ and ‘Science and Spirit: Exploring the Limits of Consciousness’

“By focusing on the experiences of mediums, described in their own words, From the Mouths of Mediums provides fascinating insight into the underlying subjective processes of mediumistic readings.”
--Jack Hunter, co-editor of ‘Talking with the Spirits: Ethnographies from Between the Worlds’
