Traveling In (Pendle Hill Pamphlets Book 324)

Traveling In (Pendle Hill Pamphlets Book 324)

E. Glenn Hinson
0/5 ( ratings)
In May 1984 at Rosemont College in Pennsylvania, Douglas Steere addressed the SFF Conference. He began “I am going to speak about traveling in and about my own personal journey, I haven’t done that on any other occasion in quite as full a way as I’m going to do here this morning.” He then proceeded to share a vibrant testimony of the work of the spirit in his life. Pendle Hill is happy to be able to reproduce the text of that talk as Douglas delivered it-in an edited transcript of the talk and on audio cassette tape. The tape is available through the Pendle Hill bookstore.

We are very grateful to Helen Steere Horn for allowing us to include in this pamphlet poems she wrote in the last years of her father’s life. The poems bear witness to the spirit at the heart of Douglas Steere’s personal journey. Helen is a counselor, oral historian, and teacher of life-story writing who lives with her husband on a farm in Appalachian Ohio.
