A bit darker but still awesome!Cannibal road was quite a bit darker than the first 3.That being said it was also a non-stop rollercoaster ride of action and snark.
I'm running out of things to say about how much I love this series. Each book is just as good as the last.
Everyone is on the run and boy do they run into so much more than they can believe a medical center taken over mental patients, and varies cannibals from old ladies who dress like teenagers age cheerleaders who kill the men or eat them to hunting for women to add to their club and the ever growing zombies. This is a sad story but in this story there is a bit of humor cannibals who are humans but they barbecued them instead of just cooking them as other in addition they had a road called cannibal...

Aarrgghh... it's so frustrating. Every one of these books has the potential to be really great but there is always something holding them back. Before I get into my frustrations in more detail, I want to make it clear that these are some really enjoyable and interesting books. They are fairly original (in comparison to other Zombie books), and they do make me laugh at times. However... Let's start with my biggest gripe and one that has been bugging me for a few books now; Jason is always leaving...
Once again Mr. Bible has cracked me up in the zombie apocalypse! Jace is still funny as hell, I love him. Elsbeth is still bad ass and she is my favorite. Stella and the kids brought out some cans of whoop ass as well! I love this was set in Knoxville as some of my family live in Knoxville and we were all born not far from there. The new canny gangs are a whole other set of messed up characters! Always looking forward to the next book to come.
This one was completely nuts. The cannibal road scene, the cannibal gang leader, Barfly... all of it was just fulfillingly crazy. But, I'll be happy if I never hear anyone ever say "Bro" again, especially repeatedly.
I couldn't put it down, I listened in one sitting, lots of action and hungry cannibals. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
This was by far the most graphic book in the series-you cannot be gross when writing about cannibals. If it hadn't been for the nonstop action and having to know if the Stanford's actually make it out of Knoxville , I wuks have put the book down for good. I did enjoy this one but it really felt like a guilty pleasure:)
Survivors of the dirty bomb become new entertainment on cannibal rode Excellent narration from Andrew as alwaysHighly recommended zombie seriesI received a free review audiobook and voluntarily left this review
The Stanfords are together at last and taking on Z's, crazed co-eds, and cannibal gangs. For the majority of this series they have been separated and fighting their own battles, but they really are more entertaining together. Now the whole convoy is under Critter's command and united with cannies. Things should get interesting in the next book.
Is this series getting boring? Hell no! The cast of characters is as insane as ever, but it is the zombie apocalypse after all.More fighting, capture, escape and lots of blood and gore. They have left the 'safety' of zburbia but the fun and games continues in Mr Bible's inimitable style. Buy the series, read them all, you won't regret it.
This was definitely one of the most attention grabbing (for me, at least) books in the series so far.
Are they never going to catch a break!?! An enjoyable mix of villains in this book. Vivid descriptions. A great readAnother fantastic book in this series
Awesome zomedy/dramaLaugh out loud, sob uncontrollably mayhem and sadness all going down in the zombie apocalypse. Well written, well fleshed out characters. Completely believable in a way that makes the zompic seem normal.
Another great readIt's not often I read 5 books in a series one after the other. But I'm going to do exactly that as soon as I'm typing this, bros.
I think Jake Bible is a tad insane bro. There is some seriously demented content in this book bro. That being said, I enjoyed it and the three books previous to this one, bro.The action is over the top and ridiculous, but fun and entertaining. There is more gore and blood than The Walking Dead. I hope there is a Z-Burbia 5. What else will this sick guy come up with?
The worst of the series. The cannibal dialogue was so annoying I just skipped through all the "bro" parts.
It's all coming togetherHalfway through the series, and everyone knows how to take down zombies (Zs I mean). Jace is becoming less of a leader, which is a good thing, and his kids are growing up. At least they made peace with the Cannies (sort of)Another awesome read!
I'm really becoming a big Jake Bible fan!!!As the Stanford family, along with their friends - new and old - continue to head west they run into one snag after another. When they begin their trek down Cannibal Road one only needs to guess what the biggest problem is about to be. I'll give you one hint...it's not the undead! As always there is lots of action and killing; a little bit of swearing; and a ton of laughs. Some scenes may not be for the faint of heart, but then again it's an apocalyptic...
