Catching Up With Cold Friends

Meet Nick Addams: Private Eye. He has returned to his high school for the reunion of the Class of '29, accompanied by his Gal Friday, Dixie Turner, to renew old acquaintances and perhaps, just perhaps, light a fire in the heart of his boyhood crush, the vapid but beautiful Brandi Alexander. That's not what happens. Instead, Nick is again the biggest loser in school, rejected even by the girl he dated in his teen years, wallflower-turned-bombshell Eliza Jones, who wants to make a play for the star quarterback. To make matters worse, Brandi has shown up with notorious gangster, Dutch Sanchez, who Nick has encountered numerous times but has never managed to place behind bars. When a fatal shot is fired and nearly everyone reveals a motive for the killing, it appears the party is over. The reunion ends up being merely Nick's chance for Catching Up With Cold Friends... one of whom is plain mean and one who is plain dead.
