I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES
Like Paul, I had been blessed to overcome the powers of the Devil. And like Paul, I believe that what we do here on this earth for Jesus and His people is important.

Throughout my years in my years of ministry, I’ve seen Jesus heal and deliver so many people; even after this attack happened, He’s continued to heal them. A pastor friend of mine called me and asked me if I would go to the hospital to pray for another pastor’s wife, I’ll call her Mary. She had heart trouble and she was waiting for them to find a heart for a transplant. She showed me the scars on her legs. She told me that they had removed the veins but they could not repair her heart again. She said, “I need a new heart.” I took her by the hand and prayed for her. I asked Jesus to give her a new heart. I saw Jesus give a man a new heart about twenty years ago. So, I had no doubt that Jesus could give her a new heart.

My pastor friend called me the next day to testify. He told me that Mary was going to live. He said, “Pastor Pat, after you left the hospital, about nine o’clock, the hospital received a heart from a man that had been killed in an accident. They took Mary up to the operating room and performed the operation. Mary received a miracle.”

“Oh,” I replied, discouraged because I thought Jesus was going to supernaturally put a new heart into her chest. “Why do you think that was a miracle?”

“Pastor Pat, when they cut her chest open, the doctor placed the heart on the counter. The heart suddenly started beating; before the electric shock, the heart started beating. The doctors were amazed; Jesus truly did give her a new heart!”

Truly, we have seen many miracles before and since Jesus saved my life. My brother Chuck came to the family Christmas gathering two years ago. He told me that the doctors had found spots on his lungs. He was a smoker. He said, “They say they believe that I have cancer and have about six months to live.” My sister and I prayed with him. Jesus healed him! When he returned to the doctor, the spots were gone!
