This organizer is very presumptive in that all of the lines and blanks to be filled out assume that the pregnant person is heterosexual, married, and that dad is thrilled about the new arrival. Um.... That's not everyone's circumstance, duh! I very quickly flipped through and read all of the pertinent things in the organizer in about an hour and quickly realized that I would never really use it. I received this organizer as a gift, and it has been very helpful. It has spaces for journal entries each day, exercise and food group logs, medical records, and much more. The part I like best is the area for medical visits, where you can log questions for your next visit as you think of them (obviously, this is for non-urgent questions). I find that between the mental fog of pregnancy and the excitement of each prental visit, it's hard to keep track of questions and tidbits of info like my wei...
I love this organizer. I used it for the pregnancy of all of my children.
kind of a waste of money.
A commercial success but not much more to say about it. It teaches women to be good little patients who don't ask questions.
My favourite book for a new to be singleton mom
This is a pretty good organizer - however it's lacking many sections that I wanted, and I didn't like how some sections were organized. It did have enough note room though to add in the sections myself. Compared to my new one, "My Pregnancy Journal" by Charlotte King, this one is much better. Update: I've since tried out my other top 3 organizers that I picked out, and I now bought the updated version of this one again. This one is by far the best. I loved this organizer and have one for each of my children! I think it was a neat idea to document each pregnancy exam, how I felt, etc and has already proven to be neat to go back and read through. I think, the information I recorded for each of my children could also be used for their medical history when/if they choose to have children. Loved it!
I hated the book What to Expect When You're Expecting. A friend of mine called it "101 Irrational Fears About Pregnancy", and that pretty much sums it up. But I liked the planner. It just organized things nicely, I thought. And has far less fear mongering in it.
Makes you paranoid and not totally useful.
This book had been very helpful to me. But not this time! :)
It's organized a little wonky at the back end, but some Post-It flags took care of that problem.
An adequate, thorough pregnancy book.
