Boyfriends and girlfriends have parted ways millions of times before you and your significant other have, but the one thing that separates most of those separations from yours is that today there's more to worry about.
By that, I mean in the past when a couple broke up, they went their separate ways. Sure they might see each other every so often, at first a bit resentful of each other, and then later that turned into indifference. Then finally, it was almost as if the other person never existed in your life at all.
That was because everything was ephemeral. Thoughts, phone conversations, talking. All of these things fade with time.
However, today, we have emails, text messaging, Facebook, Instagram, and any other number of blogs and Tumblrs and Twitter accounts, and on and on.
