So it begins, the stories are many and I have the time to give you a look at what it’s been like for an Old Dick like me to dodge bullets, knives, machetes and angry husbands with women scorned. My part of the globe is in the high desert just south of the Sierras and just East of the road to nowhere! I’m a little more than a boomer and hard boiled enough to take your breath away with a thumb or an index finger. There are no rules in my book to get the job done, at my age I tolerate less, listen more and get my ass in a knot too quickly. My cases range from jealousy, battery , tailing, robbery, murder and mayhem which I mostly inflict on bad guys that rub me the wrong way. Don’t get me wrong, I get my ass kicked every now and then just for laughs but it still hurts! I solve a case sober but when it’s over you’ll find me at the bar sipping a scotch with my bud and partner, Bobby Cayman, whom you wouldn’t want to meet in an alley at night if you’re a bad guy! You see we watch each other’s back and get help from my ex, Mai Rome. She sizzles and I get burned every time! I tell it like it is and give you a bird’s eye view what life in the fastest slow lane you’ll ever want to enjoy. You got the time I got the stories that will spin your head into first gear, take you slow and easy in second and let you hit your stride in third! You’ll never have to hit reverse unless you can’t take the pressure or just want to re-visit the previous page! They know me as DD, my old friends anyway! You can call me Danger or Don for short.
