His eyes that went dark before, suddenly flashed bright silver and she tried to step back. His hands tightened around her arms painfully and she gasped in pain. His jaw tightened and he looked as if cast in stone. His eyes travelled over her face as he connected the woman in front of him with the glitzy blond attorney in his memory. The flash of the dark blue eyes when angry, the slight hesitant gasp when his hot eyes met hers and the proud tilt of her head.
