Hello my friends! Welcome to an exciting journey that will lead you to achieving your finest health and beauty goals. If you read my first book, The Simple Weight Loss Solution, and I hope you have, then you already know what to eat and what to avoid for permanent weight loss. Those foods would be soy, dairy, and gluten, along with foods that are genetically modified or GMO. We know to eat healthy foods like fresh seasonal organic fruit, dark leafy greens, sprouts, organic vegetables, raw sauerkraut, alkaline grains like quinoa and millet, and seeds and nuts like chia seeds and walnuts.

Detoxing is considered a verb, not a noun. We need to incorporate long-term shifts into our lifestyle, which are far more effective in cleansing the body on a continual and deeper basis rather than short-term “detoxes”. Having said that, this detoxing plan is about helping you jump-start the process of getting back on track with long-term lifestyle changes.
The guidelines in this book are designed to achieve results slowly and over time in order to avoid any drastic side effects. If you detox too much too fast, your eliminating organs will be completely overwhelmed and overworked. This can lead to headaches, nausea, and breakouts as your body begins to circulate the toxins that were tucked away and protected in your fat. Short-term detox diets don’t really get out the deep toxicity. Just think about how long you have been eating this way. Could it all magically leave your body in 4 days? Nope. So we detox slowly by eating right, pulling the toxins out of your fat, shedding fat, and feeling fabulous for the long-term!

Cleansing our bodies is one of the most powerful tools we have in our toolbox to bring our bodies and minds back into alignment. The most important thing to remember about this detoxing cleanse is that it is meant to instill long-term habits, which I want you to keep going for a lifetime of health and well-being. Most detoxes and cleanses don’t teach you how to shift your long-term habits, which is really the key to looking and feeling your best.
