An enjoyable read. I like this anthology as it is full of different ideas; I love how one theme can go off in all directions in the hands of different writers. My favourites of the bunch include: ‘Stilled Life’ by Ellen Denton, as right until the end I was trying to guess what was really going on, it was quite effective, and I particularly like the dawning realisation moment; ‘Kin Carriers’ by Jason Lairamore because it was an interesting story about how history is written by the victors, with a...

It's been a while since I've read a good science fiction book or a collection of short stories, and so I was happy to open up Third Flatiron's new anthology, The Time It Happened. There are fifteen short stories in the collection with an eclectic variety of styles.
