The First Time Juror

The First Time Juror

Nora Ruder
0/5 ( ratings)
The First Time Juror is a fictional story based on the personal experience of the author as she served on jury duty. It contains accurate information, amid its fictional format, of a real court case. Among its courtroom content, this book depicts the harrowing story about the life of a young man as he starts making wrong choices in his life, which ultimately culminate in a life of crime and tragedy for the victims and their families. The First Time Juror also contains facts about the life of the author through the main character Amanda's backdrop story as she relives her own rape experience and perhaps at a subconscious level tries to find justice through the victim's own rape experience. This is a story of a lifetime's worth of painful experiences culminating in lessons learned and applied positively to the life of a victim of abuse and violence. The First Time Juror although simple in its reading format, conveys a myriad of life lessons as the main character's ability to convert pain and hardship into love and happiness triumphs in the end. This book masterfully brings in the end all characters depicted in its story to create a sense of universal unity, giving the reader a sense of clarity and purpose through life's ups and downs, discovering that in the end everything works out in life bringing the universal purpose to completion. This book will make want to participate in jury duty next time you're summoned.
