Dr. Joshua Miller, a former University of Michigan Quantum Physics professor, was part of an Air Force research team that conducted experiment on teleportation. Contracted by the Defense Intelligence Agency through the supervision of Dr. David Heiz, the team successfully teleported liquid for the first time. Almost of the same time, the Russians had successfully bored a hole at Vostok, a lake in Antarctica, fully shielded with millennia-aged ice. It had been a scientific breakthrough hailed as success until weird phenomena started to happen, which coincided with the disappearance of prominent scientists involved in Antarctic exploration. It was suspected that the lake had negative matters hidden underneath, leading the Russians to ask assistance from Joshua and David who had expertise in handling exotic materials.

Joshua’s busyness had irritated Karen, his wife. Privately, she had always been admonished by her grandfather Baruch, a Jew, to read and decipher the Prophetic Book of Jared’s Son. From the old-worn out book, the origin of the extraterrestrials and their intentions which were hidden from mankind for generations, were revealed. But nobody wanted to believe the old man, until catastrophic events happened at Vostok, forcing mankind to confront the attacking aliens. Revelations of what had really happened at Roswell in 1947 emerged as the aliens showed interests in Vostok Lake.

Worldwide cataclysmic events had almost wiped out the world’s population, forcing Joshua to utilize the power of his experiment and the revelations from Baruch’s book to deter the aliens’ assault.

At the end, he learned what was the most significant purpose of his life that had been taken for granted. And he decided that he would not let it go away without a fight.
