I’ve shared some of my stories with others across the years. Part of this book is a semi-autobiography that I use only to show where I came from and where I am at today in my journey with God.

The Christian walk is a journey with God that is filled with joy and sorrow, much faith and much doubt, having an abundance and having little. I hope as I share some of my journey with you that it will open your mind and heart more to Jesus.

I wanted to write these few pages as though I was sitting across from you on the living room couch and give you a brief glimpse into some of the emotions, both good and bad, that are both a part of who we are and who God wants us to be.

As you read I trust that you will see how I learned and grew from mistakes and failures throughout my life and give you some insight on how gracious our God truly is. I have let God have it all, my past, my present, and my future. In His hands all things work out for my good, but I have to let Him have it all.

You may find things I have written on these pages that you disagree with and that’s OK. I don’t want anyone to pattern their lives after me. I want you to follow after Christ and live the way He leads.

As you read through this you will see things from my inmost being, things that are bad and things that are good. It is sometimes the bad things in life, our badness if you will, that makes us turn and do better.

God never lets us sink completely. We may be like Peter walking on the water, when he took his eyes off of Jesus he began to sink, but the Lord lifted him up. I hope as you read through these few stories you will begin to see that I’m not all that, but Jesus truly is.

I have failed many times and will do so in the future because I am human. Jesus has never failed me, not once. I hope this encourages you as you face your life with all of its ups and downs. I have had no regret of ever doing what God asked of me.
