I finished this a couple weeks ago but was super conflicted about how to rate it. I LOVED the representation but the writing style was not for me. The narrator's voice was really young (I mean, the characters are young, so done appropriately) and it was dialogue heavy and talked about parties and relationships and navigating high school and the college admission process. When you have to force yourself to read and finish a book purely so you can discuss it with your book group and then find you have nothing remotely positive or constructive to say or add to the debate about said book then I think that's a big fat one star Still can't remember which character was which. Hated the way the background story of each MC was revealed. Didn't ever connect with a character.Honestly loathed it. So glad it's over.

It was hard to tell which character was 'speaking' because both narrative voices were really similar.
