That's it folks! Only till #7 available in KU...well I had fun till it lasted...I am not sure I would be buying rest of the series but you never know :)
WHAT? THAT ENDING
I really love the incorporation of Greek/Roman mythology.
each book has a different artist and it keeps things interesting, characters return in later books the cover art is fantastic
Prety on par with the rest of the series!
4 Stars, buy it/BorrowI liked this issue more than the last one. I probably won’t wait a while to read issue 8 as this one was left on a bit of a cliffhanger with one of the regular girls. Definitely recommend this series. The campers are trying to steal a crystal from the camp leaders cabin. Trouble ensues. One of the girls claims to be daughter of Zeus (Artemis) and her brother Apollo are in some sort of competition to get power from their father. More trouble happens while they are in a cave t...
I read one of these for the extreme book nerd challenge. I wanted to see if something I would recommend. Nope would not.
Well, that escalated quickly.
What's this? Jen sneaking around and lying to Rosie? The Lumberjanes decide to go along with Diane's coercion and lead her into the (Mythical and Ancient) Cave of Magic and Wonder and Anagrams-for Some-Reason.
The weakest in the series yet, but still enjoyable. I think it might be time to bring this series to it's natural end.
That story would make a great tv show tbh !
Honestly I'm gonna give every one of these 5 stars at this point and I have no shame about it.Diane and Apollo have challenges set by their Dad; here we are following them. This is waayyy too addictive. Oops.
OH SNAP
Read in Lumberjanes, Vol. 2: Friendship to the Max.The Lumberjanes (Jo, Molly, Mal, April, and Ripley) help fight the craziness that is overtaking their summer camp. A fun, cool story about a group of friends.#7 in the series. Camp counselor Jen voluntarily joins in on the Lumberjanes adventure.
Ace!
So apparently Apollo wasn't a nickname for an evil mob, they were talking about the APOLLO, which is now carved in my mind as a teen with acne and a talking arrow -thank you, Rick Riordan. I don't trust Artemis, even before the last page. She is evil.
A cool book for everyone. It was spontaneous and rambunctious.
A clever plan with gung-ho Ripley repeatedly jumping into whatever fray appears as the girls work on fulfilling Diana’s requests, and the humour continues unabated.
So. It went there... Greek Mythology.I think I would have preferred for this series to just continue as a bunch of random stories without any real purpose, story, or plot.
This was very chaotic, just like a battleground is supposed to be.
