The first issue in this run of Catwoman comic books is written by Jo Duffy, with art by Jim Balent and Dick Giordano and with coloring by Buzz Setzer. The issue was originally published in August of 1993, and it definitely shows its age, since there is, for example, an ad in the comic book for a Batman Returns video game on the Super Nintendo. Just for the record, I need to say that I love Jim Balent's Catwoman. I have for years and years. When I think of Catwoman, it is this purple-suited feline-lover that comes to mind. Hence the reason, I have started looking for this series.Duffy's writing is what you would expect from the early 90's comics. Dialogue is short and cliche.
