A Leader of Integrity: 7 Lessons Learned is a book of my experiences and a record of strategies for success. Within the book are letters from parents, teachers, students and principals who collaborate the effectiveness of the seven lessons I have learned from my 40 years in the education profession.

Dr. Delores Inniss has had a lengthy career in education spanning the positions of Teacher, Math Resource Teacher, Curriculum Resource Teacher, Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal-on-Assignment, Adjunct Professor, Principal and Principal-on-Assignment. Her leadership strengths are so great that she has been chosen twice for different on-assignment positions requiring specific leadership skills.

The last leadership assignment Dr. Inniss accepted at Orange County Public Schools was the Principal-on-Assignment for the BRIDGE Leadership grant of $3.75 million. She worked with school level principals developing their leadership skills. She has written a notebook of information to help newly appointed principals. She has also helped develop and present a workshop on “Mastering courageous Conversations” which aids administrators as they have those “tough” conversations with employees.

Dr. Inniss has a passion for education and the children she serves. Students come first and all decisions she has made were in the best interest of children.
