All Ignaz wants to do is complete his house, find a wife, and settle into life as a full-grown member of this clan. But, no, first he has to indulge the elders and go on a vision quest to ensure he is following the plan of the gods. The only problem is that Ignaz doesn't believe in the gods. Ignaz reluctantly heads out on his quest, angry at the traditions of his people. He plans to fake it and claim the gods have told him what to do. Ignaz not only has to challenge his own beliefs, but he's sent on a quest that will allow him to reclaim his Birthmate, taken the year before.
