Follow the story of a boy who lived and loved in the 1950s and became a Flight Surgeon who loved the USAF during the Vietnam War era. He retires to a love for bass fishing with his best fishing buddy while they solve the world's problems in the midst of their angling efforts. He tells about humorous incidents from his teen years in the '50s, with a sad one that changed his life. He also describes flying in jet fighters of the Vietnam War era and the terrible aircraft accidents that he had to investigate. His time in the Air Force was during the birth of the "free love" movement of the late sixties and early seventies, and he had to sacrifice his body in various Officer's Clubs. He finally finds his one true love while in the Air Force, but has to overcome a big obstacle if he is to win her heart, maybe.
