For more than 50 years, Brian Willson has been a keen fisherman and outdoor enthusiast.

After first discovering the joy of fishing as a young boy at Lake Taupo in the 1960's, Brian's interest in the sport continued to grow. Fishing soon became a true passion with Brian enjoying an ever-increasing range of experiences as his fishing skills developed.

Just One More Cast is a collection of tales and adventures from a lifetime enjoying New Zealand's spectacular lake, river and sea fishing locations. From the Mataura River in the Deep South right up to the Motu and Waioeka Rivers near Opotiki and rock fishing in the Coromandel, Brian has cast his line.

In this, Brian's first book, you'll read some of his favourite stories about the ones that got away, the ones that didn't and all of the quirky, magnificent and at times, dangerous incidnets that took place over the years. There are tales of what it feels like to catch a trophy trout, a near miss with a charging bull, a cold night stranded in the bush and plenty more. The book is also full of tips and tricks to help you begin your fishing journey or get the most out of this truly wonderful pastime.

Brian is now a member of the New Zealand Professional Fishing Guides Association . Based in Opotiki in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, he shareas his love of fishing with clients from all around the world.
