You’re about to discover how I almost destroyed my life with drink but, after much searching, managed to find a cure.
As soon as I stopped drinking and realized how good life was after drinking, I wanted to write a book to help you and other people overcome the habit that, quite frankly nearly destroyed my own life, if not almost ended it completely.

With this book, I want to show you that you are not alone with your drink and your habit but that your experiences, whilst they will be different to my own, are similar in that we have reasons that we have drunk in the first place.

I want to demonstrate to you, by way of my own experiences with drink how much I know what really heavy drinking is and what wanting to stop drinking feels like. I also want you to understand that I also realize just how difficult it is to stop drinking. For this book to help you, it was important that I convey that I am a real person, who had an enormous drinking challenge and not someone who wants to tell you how to stop but has never been there, or never been there as tough as you have it.

I want you to understand that I too felt that stopping was, for me, likely to be impossible after trying and failing so many times.
But, I also want you to discover, like I did, that there is a medical treatment for our problem, in fact, there is a choice of such treatments that work in a similar fashion that can stop you, like they did me, from drinking on a permanent basis and will help you, like it did me to regain and enjoy life.

Lastly, in order for the treatment to work, you have to understand what will happen if you try drinking whilst taking such treatments. I hope that my hard earned lessons will be valuable to you.
