My favourite story was Devil's Village. This captivating short story is the charming troublemaker of the anthology, sneaking sci-fi onto the plates of readers expecting to be served more traditional genres in an African anthology. Try it, you'll like it! Devil's Village happens to be the first of many short stories by up-and-coming sci-fi author, Dayo Ntwari. A brilliant start!
I really wanted to like this collection of stories but unfortunately i know really liked three of them. I felt a lot of them were just too long and boring even if the ideas were good but the execution wasn't. My fave stories:Being a ManSocial StudiesVoicesbut just because i didn't like them doesn't mean you won't so if you like short stories then give it a try. Happy Reading (although pretty much all the topics in the book are dark and disturbing) =)
