I had no idea who this guy thought he was, but I knew immediately that I didn’t like him. Right out of the gate there was just something about him that rubbed me the wrong way. He wasn’t a bad looking guy. He didn’t look like a serial killer or smell like a bum or anything like that. And he seemed nice enough, I suppose. He was friendly in an annoying “trying too hard” kind’a way. He tried to make polite conversation. He tried to warm up to me, but he was wasting his time. I wasn’t going to warm up to him. I’m a pretty good judge of people. There was just something about him that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I think it was the way he looked at Sarah when he thought I wasn't looking, like she was a juicy piece of meat and he was a hungry wolf ready to just eat her up.
