In 1796 young Elias Strand, a British Naval officer is deported from his beloved England for surviving a naval engagement with the Portuguese pirate Hernandez Balboa. Strand and Balboa redefine their lives in the newly formed American colonies, post Revolution. Their small fishing village known as Dolphin Cove is victimized by the slaver/pirate Herman Cortes, who believes Strand has obsconded with gold promised him by another countrymen, Captain Henry Smythe. Love, treachery, murder and retribution abound, when after nearly 200 years, the Founding Fathers, along with the villainous Herman Cortes rerturn for retribution or redemption, and only the chosen among the living can solve the mystery behind the legend of The Ghost of Dolphin Cove.
