Living is a serial Christian drama script for church performance. It is a set of seven 5-7 minute scenes that follow one family’s commitment to live their faith.

Originally, the scenes were performed over the course of a seven week sermon series focusing on family. Each week focuses on a different issue that families deal with in real life and the challenges that happen when normal families seek to live according to Biblical principles.

Characters:
Brad: The father. Hard-working, typical family man. Appears in almost every scene. 30-40.
Jen: The mother. Busy with responsibilities of the family and caring for her grandmother. Appears in every scene. 30-40.
Katelynn: A young teenager. Close to her family but going through normal teenage growing pains. Appears in almost every scene. 13.
Austin: Happy, go-lucky boy. Appears in almost every scene. 10.
Olivia: Typical young girl. Appears in almost every scene. 8.
Grandma: Jen’s grandmother. Appears in almost every scene. 94.
Debbie: Jen’s sister. Single career woman. Appears in Week Seven only. 20s to 40s.
Sherry: Only appears in Week One. Late 20s to 40s. A mom.
Kevin: Only appears in Week One. Late 20s to 40s. A dad. Sherry’s husband.
Madison: Only appears in Week One. 5-9 years old.
Nolan: Only appears in Week One. 5-11 years old.
